Sambrani

Crystals formed from processing the herbal resin obtained from the bark of Sal tree. Sambrani, a term that originated in Ayurveda, is said to act as a fumigating agent that removes moisture and purifies the space. The traditional way of using Sambrani is by sprinkling small pieces of the crystals into burning hot charcoal, resulting in producing a balsamic and powdery scent. It is also a popular practice in Southern India for women to dry their hair using Sambrani.

Sambrani has a long history of medicinal benefits such as subduing negative emotions like anger and sadness, helping in treating skin infections and acting as a disinfectant that drives out bacteria in cases of cold and cough.
