Oudh

Oudh is known to be one of the most expensive and desirable perfume ingredients in the world. It comes from the bark of the Agar tree which is believed to have originated in Assam in India. The wood chips of the tree’s bark are often burned as incense during religious ceremonies in several cultures throughout Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The musky, woody and balsamic notes of Oudh give it a complex and unique scent. If you grew up in an Indian household, chances are that you are already familiar with this scent.

Oudh has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties which can help ease symptoms of many auto-immune diseases. It can also help eliminate toxins due to its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
